Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using ToneLink’s websites, release-page tools, analytics, integrations, and related services.

Effective July 21, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Cyniical Productions LLC, doing business as ToneLink (“ToneLink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of tone-link.com, link.tone-link.com, and the related applications and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using a public ToneLink page, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for a company, label, agency, artist, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

ToneLink provides tools for building and publishing music release pages, routing listeners to third-party destinations, managing artists and campaigns, configuring themes and domains, connecting supported tracking technologies, and reviewing performance analytics. Features, limits, and availability may differ by plan and may change as the Service develops.

ToneLink provides the software and hosting infrastructure used to create and deliver customer pages, but customers—not ToneLink—select, submit, and control the Customer Content displayed on those pages. Customer pages and Customer Content do not represent ToneLink’s views, sponsorship, or endorsement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToneLink is not responsible for Customer Content or for harm arising from a customer’s submission, publication, or use of that content.

ToneLink is a marketing technology platform. We do not distribute music, provide legal or tax advice, guarantee placement on any music service, or guarantee any number of streams, clicks, conversions, or other results.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to a workspace. Workspace owners and administrators control workspace membership, roles, content, integrations, and billing.

You may not share credentials in a way that bypasses plan limits or security controls, impersonate another person, or access a workspace without authorization.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of artwork, names, music metadata, links, themes, scripts, campaign information, and other material you submit to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant ToneLink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display, transmit, resize, and otherwise use Customer Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for Customer Content and its use through the Service, including rights to artwork, photographs, biographies, names, trademarks, publicity rights, destination links, domains, and tracking configurations. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of Customer Content and for removing content you no longer have permission to use.

These responsibilities apply whether Customer Content is uploaded to ToneLink or displayed from a URL, API, embed, music service, content-delivery network, or other third-party source. Referencing remotely hosted material does not grant you or ToneLink permission to use it and does not transfer responsibility for that material to ToneLink.

ToneLink owns the Service, including its page architecture, software, templates, analytics systems, interface, and design elements that are not Customer Content. ToneLink does not acquire ownership of the customer-created page content or third-party materials displayed through the Service, and use of the Service does not grant customers ownership of ToneLink’s underlying technology.

5. Analytics, pixels, and visitor notices

The Service can collect performance events from public release pages and can transmit events to tracking or advertising services that you choose to configure. You control whether those optional integrations are assigned to your workspace, artists, or releases.

You are responsible for using analytics, pixels, scripts, cookies, custom domains, and campaign parameters lawfully. This includes providing any required notices, obtaining any required consent, honoring applicable opt-out signals or requests, configuring integrations correctly, and entering into any required agreements with third-party providers. You may not use the Service to collect sensitive information or to track people in ways prohibited by law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate law or another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
  • publish pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, or any sexualized content involving minors;
  • publish content that promotes hatred, targeted harassment, credible threats, graphic violence, human trafficking, or illegal goods or services;
  • use artwork, photographs, biographies, names, trademarks, music metadata, or other materials without the rights and permissions required to display them;
  • publish malware, deceptive redirects, phishing material, unlawful content, or content that facilitates fraud or abuse;
  • send unauthorized code, defeat security protections, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Service;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or reproduce the Service except as expressly permitted by law or a written agreement;
  • inflate, manipulate, or misrepresent engagement, analytics, attribution, or campaign results; or
  • use the Service to build or enrich profiles containing sensitive personal information.

ToneLink is not obligated to pre-screen or continuously monitor Customer Content. We may nevertheless review reports and, in our reasonable discretion, remove or disable content, unpublish a page, restrict an integration, preserve relevant records, suspend an account, or terminate an account when content violates these Terms, conflicts with the intended music-marketing purpose of the Service, creates risk to users or third parties, or may expose ToneLink or its providers to legal, security, or reputational harm.

We may terminate accounts of repeat intellectual-property infringers when appropriate. Copyright, trademark, privacy, safety, or other content complaints may be sent to support@tone-link.com with the affected page URL, identification of the material, the basis for the complaint, the reporting party’s contact information, and a statement that the report is accurate and made in good faith. We may forward a complaint and relevant contact information to the affected customer where appropriate.

7. Third-party services

The Service links to and may integrate with music platforms, analytics providers, advertising platforms, domain providers, payment processors, and other third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. ToneLink does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, content, policy changes, account decisions, or data handling.

Artwork, artist names, release metadata, trademarks, and other materials obtained from or associated with a third-party music service remain the property of that service or the applicable artists, labels, licensors, and other rightsholders. You must comply with applicable provider terms, attribution rules, display requirements, link-back requirements, and usage restrictions. ToneLink may change or disable an integration or remove affected material when reasonably necessary to comply with a provider’s requirements or a rights-holder complaint.

8. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance through our payment processor. Prices, billing intervals, plan limits, and included features are shown at checkout or in the Service. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

Workspace owners and authorized administrators may manage billing through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout terms or applicable law state otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by ToneLink. Taxes may apply. If payment fails, we may limit paid features after reasonable notice.

9. ToneLink property and feedback

The Service—including its software, design system, trademarks, documentation, and non-customer content—is owned by ToneLink and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active and compliant.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but we do not acquire ownership of your Customer Content.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep ToneLink available and secure, but the Service may experience interruptions, errors, maintenance, or changes. Beta, preview, or newly released features may be incomplete and may change or be discontinued. We may modify plan limits or features, and we will provide reasonable notice when a material change negatively affects an active paid subscription.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the Service in a way that could harm ToneLink, our providers, or others.

After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity—will survive.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” ToneLink disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce a particular marketing or commercial outcome.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToneLink and its affiliates, personnel, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToneLink’s total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid ToneLink during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify ToneLink and its affiliates and personnel from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your Customer Content, your configured tracking technologies, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from ToneLink’s own unlawful conduct.

15. General terms

These Terms and any plan-specific terms presented at checkout are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; ToneLink may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service, by email, or by updating this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
